In the Lady Chaps debut season in the Lone Star Conference, they have won the conference tournament over the top-seeded Texas A&M-Commerce 57-44. The win not only lets the Lady Chaps cut down the nets in the LSC tournament, it also ensures that they are a top seed in the NCAA DII tournament.

Lubbock Christian, Texas A&M-Commerce, West Texas A&M, Eastern New Mexico and Angelo State all earned bids from the Lone Star Conference to the 2020 NCAA Division II Women's Basketball Championship.

As stated earlier the Lady Chaps will be the one seed in the South Central region with A&M Commerce as the two seed. WT is the three seed and ENMU and ASU round out the region as 7th and 8th. Those five LSC schools will be joined by Colorado Mesa, Westminster and Western Colorado.

Not only will LCU be the one seed, but they will also host the South West Region in Lubbock with the winner of the regionals advancing to the Elite Eight in Birmingham, Alabama where they'll be reseeded before the quarterfinals.

The action will begin on March 13th and be played through the 16th.
