The first night of the 2012 NFL Draft kicks off the new year for football and brings surprises aplenty. My beloved Tennessee Titans joined in on the surprising fun taking Wide Receiver Kendall Wright instead of a needed Defensive End or Cornerback, which isn't necessarily a bad thing.

Watching Wright play at Baylor was a treat, as he dazzled scouts and audiences with his performance with Quarterback Robert Griffin III, who was taken second overall by the Washington Redskins.

Other surprises included the Seattle Seahawks taking one of the best pass rushers in the NCAA from West Virginia, Bruce Irvin.

Who knows what tomorrow and Saturday will hold for the teams of National Football League, but I know I'll be tuned in to ESPN and hoping my Titans get someone worth something.
