Are You Proud To Be An “American” [VIDEO]

When I see a man or woman in a uniform, I make it a point to go up to them and thank them for the sacrifices they and their families make for me and my family each and every day. I am proud to be an American, and I realize that without the brave men and women who risk their lives for us, we could all be living very different lives.

One thing about being an American is that none of us are above being made fun of by those who have a different political views, those of different races, or even based on what football teams we like or don't like.

And only in America could someone make money off of a song where they pretty much bash everyone in the world.

Maybe that is why I find this song so funny, I fall into at least three of the categories Macklemore makes fun of in his song, "American."

After all if we can't laugh at ourselves then we are taking ourselves way too seriously.
