It just wasn't the right day for either Texas team on Monday, as both suffered losses that forced the fifth and final games of the ALDS series' for the first time since 2012.

After it seemed the Houston Astros had punched their ticket to the ALCS after a three-run seventh inning to go ahead 6-2, the Houston bullpen did what it's done the latter half of the year and imploded, giving up seven runs, as the Royals took the fourth game 9-6. The two teams will move back to Kansas City for the fifth and final game of the series. Collin McHugh will start as will Johnny Cueto.

The Blue Jays jumped out early on Derek Holland, who taunted Toronto by wiping his rear end with a Blue Jays rally towel during game two. Toronto held nothing back, using two first-inning homers to take a 3-0 lead, then added another solo shot in the second. Toronto would go on to win the game by a 8-4 final.

Both fifth games will be played on Wednesday, as the Rangers and Blue Jays square off at 3:07 and the Astros/Royals matchup will begin at 7:07.
