Wood’s Eye View – Big Purple Party Pix 1
With lines forming before 10 am, the day was beginning to give us a hint of just what the day would bring. It's just a guess, but the crowd must have reached 6,000. It's probably the largest crowd that I have ever seen at the Lonestar Amphitheater. This was the smoothest run, most fun, day long concert that I have ever attended. There was plenty of food, drink, and an overload of rock and roll, from 12:30 pm to 1 am.. Picts after the jump.

Volbeat Meet-N-Greet Highlight For Fans (Photos)
Hours before the gates opened, a small band of FMX winners gathered at the Lone Star Amphitheater in Lubbock, Texas. (3-11-13) After a quick stop at the merchandise booth to buy signable items, the small band of Volbeat fans soon found themselves on their way back stage to meet the band. No one was disappointed.
