Yet another week of upsets afflicted the college football world, as three top five teams fell on Saturday.

#3 Florida State, #4 Louisiana State, and #5 Georgia all fell to lower ranked teams. As a matter of fact, NC State, the team that knocked out Florida State, was unranked at the time of their win. LSU fell to #10 Florida and Georgia fell to a very good #6 South Carolina team.

The then #11 Texas Longhorns got taken down by one of my new favorites, #8 West Virginia in Austin.

The new top five showcases Alabama and Oregon with the top spots, along with South Carolina, Florida, and West Virginia round out the top five.

The NFL had some pretty good games too. The Saints finally got a win, beating the San Diego Chargers. My Titans got butchered, of course. Indianapolis got a huge win over Green Bay, and the Rams gave the Cardinals their first loss of the year.

Of course, the sports recap wouldn't be complete without mentioning that 25-car pile up on the last lap of the race at Talladega, allowing Matt Kenseth and Jeff Gordon to finish first and second.

All in all, it was a great weekend for sports in general. I'm ready to see what happens next week!
