The Hub City is in for a bit of a treat tonight when AWOLNation hits the Pavilion. Lubbock was lucky enough to be on the path to other shows the band had on its tour itinerary. AWOLNation has been drawing rave reviews for their unique sound and fantastic live show. More after the jump.
This 'ad' is closing in a million hits. I've long supported marriage equality in my personal blogs and now it's time for me to "come out" to the public. I see no problem and absolutely no effect on my marriage when two other people get married. As a married person, I'm with my mate and that's it. I can't see how it makes a hill of beans to my or any marriage whether ANY two people want to get married. It's just not my business and when it comes to matters like this, I mind my own business. March 5, 2013 I was searching the ol' YouTube for some Alice In Chains tracks and I came across this video of Alice In Chains before they got signed to their first record deal. Even though this video is 25 years old there is some seriously good advice for bands out there.
I'm a bit of a stickler when it comes to the "express lane" in supermarkets. First off, no Walmart "20 items or less" is not an express lane. I kind of think that people who go to the lane when more than the allotted amount of items are jerks. Here's the question though? What if there is NO ONE in line at the express lane. Yes, Lubbock's only Halloween theme park is indeed building for the Halloween '13 season. As a matter of fact, we started construction the weekend after Halloween and since we build during Halloween, we technically never stop building. We've got some cool stuff coming for you, more after the jump.

There is a certain t.v. 'personality' that drops in from time to time to offer what in the old school days was called an "editorial". It used to be these guys would offer an opinion on current events and sometimes stir the public to action. While I no longer watch that station, I went by the website in passing only to see an editorial that basically says "emergency responders are good". Seriously, is that what you're offering?
