Come On Man, I Was Just Trying To “Get Happy” [VIDEO]

Let this be a warning to all of you who think you're too cool to ever be arrested for DWI, as if we don't already have enough celebrity types arrested for driving under the influence.

This one though, may cause some of you 40 to 60 year old women to spin into a major depression, so let me just apologize in advance for being the one to break the news.

It seems 70's heartthrob of "The Partridge Family" fame, David Cassidy, was arrested for getting a little too happy then getting in his car. 

According to reports, Cassidy was stopped at a DWI checkpoint in Schodack, N.Y after failing to dim his headlights as he approached the checkpoint.

Cassidy was arrested and charged with felony DWI and failure to dim his headlights, and taken to jail where he was later bailed out by his fiancee who said they ended up at the checkpoint after David took the wrong exit.

And how is this for a strange twist, the arresting officer's name is Tom Jones... I wonder if they did a duet on the ride to jail...
