On Memorial Day (May 30), the West Texas Camaro Club of Lubbock will pay their respects to those who died serving in the U.S. military with a car cruise and other activities.
A show and shine from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. with the Babe Ruth Traveling Exhibit will happen at Gene Messer Chevy. The exhibit's proceeds will benefit local charities for veterans. The group will then head to Tommy's Drive In on North University from 3 - 5 p.m. for lunch.
At 5:30 p.m., the car club will gather with members of the Caprock Classic Car Club and other local car clubs at the Lubbock Area Veterans Memorial to lead a cruise through town.
