Jimmie Johnson Wins SpongeBob SquarePants 400 In Kansas

Perhaps that's the most interesting headline you'll read all day, but it is true. Saturday night held court for some action up north of us in Kansas and Jimmie Johnson triumphed.

Johnson held off one of the most impressive drivers this year, Kevin Harvick, as yet again the #48 and #4 were not only in the top five together, but were victor and runner-up.

Dale Earnhardt Jr. used a recent Talladega win as a confidence boost and wound up with the bronze in third. Jeff Gordon bounced back from 'Dega as well, finishing a solid fourth. The ever-present Joey Logano rounded out the top five for the night.

Next week, the all-stars will be shining bright, as one of NASCAR's biggest weekends will unfold.
