Joey Logano Holds Off Harvick For Charlotte Win

We were supposed to be under the lights this weekend in North Carolina, but Mother Nature had other plans. That didn't phase Chase contender Joey Logano, as he held off a dueling Kevin Harvick and punched his ticket into the next round of the Chase for the Sprint Cup.

Martin Truex Jr. also turned in a huge third-place finish, a giant boost for his team heading into next weekend. Denny Hamlin too had a solid fourth-place result, and Kurt Busch rounded out the top five drivers.

Next week, we head to the flatlands of Kansas for an afternoon bout between 43 drivers, and more importantly, 12 championship contenders.
