Avril Lavigne’s Cover of Metallica’s “Fuel” is Hit or Miss [VIDEO]

Years back MTV had a show called ICONS where they would salute a different artist for what they have done in their music career. Metallica made their icon list and they brought in several different artists to salute the mighty Metallica. Our lil hottie intern said this cover (Avril Lavigne seen above) was an epic fail. I disagreed.

I may not like the artist, but it isn't a bad cover. What's funny to see is what Justin noticed (he runs our board here @FMX) is Lars rocking out hardcore to the band playing. I think it's a lil over the top watching him, but make your own opinion. It's tough enough to cover Metallica, but for covering it with them in the audience I think she did well.
