Rick Hendrick, owner of Hendrick Motorsports was involved in a plane crash Monday night at a Keywest, Florida airport. The pilots of the Gulfstream 150 radioed that the small jet had lost all brakes on approach to the Keywest airport, the jet then over shot the runway and came to rest in newly built 600 foot saftey area. Hendrick and his wife Linda Hendrick were taken to Lower Keys Medical Center with minor injuries; the piolt and co-pilot were taken in as a precaution.

NASCAR'S "Race for the Chase" rolls into Texas Motor Speedway on Sunday 11/6, with three of Hendrick's drivers, Jimmie Johnson, Jeff Gordon, and Dale Earnhardt Jr., still in the hunt for the NASCAR championship.
