Jerry Buss, the legendary owner of the Los Angeles Lakers, has passed away at the age of 80 due to kidney failure.

Buss was a key component and witness to seeing the LA Lakers earn 10 championship titles and massive amounts of success overall.

Buss witnessed players like Magic Johnson, Kareem Abdul-Jabaar, Shaquille O'Neal, and Kobe Bryant play for him on a nightly basis.

Buss took over a franchise that wasn't so relevant in 1979 and turned it into a staple of Californian entertainment and lifestyle.

A Naismith Hall of Fame Inductee, Buss was a true example of a successful leader who could still be loving, caring, and still give back to the fans that were so loyal to his team.

Rest in peace, Jerry Buss.
