Def Leppard has joined a growing list of bands to take up temporary residency in Las Vegas. Seems getting on a tour bus and doing a string of 50-60 shows on a big tour is quickly becoming a thing of the past. Why not, when you can hole up in Sin City.
This is for that movie "Rock Of Ages." You know, the movie from the even dumber Broadway play? The one that will bring about Armageddon and the end of times? Yeah its that one.

December 6, 2011 This year Billboard celebrated it's 1000th No. 1 song on the Hot 100 chart. Amongst those No. 1's was Def Leppard's 1988 power ballad.
Def Leppard was definitely the band for a few years in the 80's. I mean anybody who was three or older when Hysteria hit knows every damn word to at least five of the songs from that album alone. And the Lep have been huge since the 70's! So when I saw this video of a recent tour stop I felt really bad for them.
So Wes and I were arguing that Def Leppard never fell into the poofy hair category. Musically maybe they came through mostly unscathed. Their older stuff still stands the non-80's hair metal test of time. But they did fall into the trap with some of the "Hysteria" tracks. But this is about hair, and that they did have.
