If you came out to the Gigantour this past weekend and saw Newsted perform you should consider yourself lucky because he has taken himself off some tour dates for The Gigantour 2013.

This past Saturday we threw it down for The Gigantour and it was everything we wanted it to be plus a little more!

With The Gigantour 2013 coming to Lubbock on July 13th, we could see Jason Newsted of Newsted formerly of Metallica and Dave Mustaine of Megadeth formerly of Metallica taking the stage together to perform a classic Metallica track.

Gigantour tour mates of Megadeth, Black Label Society, Device, Hellyeah, and Death Division have made one of their new songs entitled "Heroic Dose" available to listen to.

I am going to call this right now, I think Newsted featuring Jason Newsted formerly of Metallica and Mike Mushok of Staind will steal the show at The Gigantour 2013.

I am very stoked that Jason Newsted's band Newsted will be making a stop in Lubbock for The Gigantour 2013 on July 13th.

Newsted is a new band that consists of Jason Newsted former bassist of Metallica. "Metal" is is the name of the new EP and I have your details here along with a brand new music video.
