I have been noticing  people posting a lot of negative comments about living in Lubbock about how we always get the same old shows and there isn't anything to do, blah blah blah. As February comes to an end, I am reminded that we still have 10 months left in the year and a whole bunch of concerts finally coming to Lubbock.

With the departure of guitarist Rob Caggiano Anthrax have added Shadows Fall guitarist Jon Donais to step in while the band is on tour.

Not only will Volbeat be in Lubbock on March 11th for the FMX Spring Thing but is there a chance that we could hear new music live here in Lubbock?

According to theprp.com Ex-Anthrax guitarist Rob Caggiano has officially joined Volbeat.

Rock On The Range is no doubt the biggest annual rock festival out there. This year's lineup is incredible and also a little nostalgic with Soundgarden, Alice In Chains, The Smashing Pumpkins and Bush on the bill (It's the 90's all over again). There's plenty of fresh faces on the bill and one very surprising Classic Rock act.

If you feared that the next Volbeat album wasn't going to be heavy enough for you, fear no more. Rob Caggiano has been summoned to produce the album and give some metal insight.

The band FMX listeners have requested most, is coming to the Hub as FMX Welcomes "Volbeat".  It's gonna be a packed night in the Pavilion when the great Danes comes to town to rock.  More after the jump.
