The One That Got Away

Dana Holgorsen who helped engineer Texas Techs high flying offense for seven years (2000-2007) is now a "coach in waiting" at Wes Virginia.

Basically they're going to let current coach Bill Stewart will coach through the upcoming season before being either forced or transitioned (depending on who you ask) to an administrative role.  Either way you can expect some high flying West Virginia Football in 2012.

I wish I had  a picture of Holgorsen-he looks like Mathew McConaughey and Phil Collins of Genesis had an ugly baby.  The only upside to this story is at least we don't have to learn to say Holgorsen which sounds like a Swedish word for "wet cough".
