United States Tops Germany In Women’s World Cup

In the semifinals of the Women's World Cup, our own ladies took down the Germans in a 2-0 victory on Tuesday night.

Carli Lloyd and Kelley O'Hara were the stars of the show in Canada Tuesday, as Lloyd scored the first goal off of a penalty kick, then O'Hara added an insurance goal later on in the late stages of the match.

With this victory, the United States' women's team will advance to play either Japan or England, both of which will play on the 1st of July (Wednesday night). The game will be aired on Fox at 6 PM Central Time.
