82nd Street Access Off I-27 To Be Closed Monday

Don't even try to get of the Interstate onto 82nd on Monday. Crews have already activated signs that the off ramp will be closed on Monday.  And what is going on on Monday?

The area of 82nd street will be dug up to provide an under the road travel right of way path for the endangered Texas horny toad. Apparently it's mating season for the nearly extinct species so government and highway officials are making every effort to encourage breeding. There will even be a small road side area that will play "smooth jams" in an effort to get the horny toads in the mood. An effort to play, what in effect would be "horny toad porn" was rejected as "going to far" since no one really knows how the vision of a horny toad works.

I just made all this crap up. I think the real reason the road is closing is to work on it.
