Saturday fans got a whale of a game to behold at United Supermarkets Arena, as the Red Raiders fought but were put away by a three at the buzzer by Baylor's Lester Medford. The final from Saturday was 63-60.

Tech fell to 11-5 on the growing season, logging its fourth straight loss, as they are now 1-4 in conference play after opening with a win versus Texas.

Aaron Ross was one of the few bright spots in an otherwise sloppy game for Tech. Ross collected 14 points including some key three's to keep Tech at the door. Devaugntah Williams also recorded 16 points.

Baylor looked quite off as well, as the #22 team struggled mightily from the line. Both teams battled with turnover troubles all afternoon.

Next up, Texas Tech travels to Fort Worth to take on the Horned Frogs of TCU on Monday night. The game will be on ESPNU and tipoff is scheduled for 6pm.
