The 20th ranked Baylor Bears came into the United Supermarkets Arena Tuesday night and almost gave up their third straight loss to the Red Raiders, but held on to win 54-49.

It's hard for any team to win when it goes 5-24 from the land of the three. That's what Texas Tech did Tuesday night, and that, in my opinion is what led to the team's demise.

The Red Raiders played a tough game, plenty of fight and hustle were both present, but the shots just wouldn't fall, especially the three's. Devaugntah Williams, again, was a scoring machine, logging 15, as Zach Smith added 10 and helped with the most assists, steals and blocks (two, three, and two, respectively). Norense Odiase had a nice outing, crashing nine boards and scoring nine points.

Texas Tech hosts the Cowboys of Oklahoma State on Saturday, and the Red Raiders would like nothing more than to expose the 22nd ranked team in the land.
