Benefit Barbecue For Biker Albert Benavidez Set For Saturday

I have to tell you, it gets very hard to write about another biker being killed on Lubbock streets. The only thing that keeps it from being absolutely soul crushing is the way the bike community joins together to celebrate one of their own.

Family and friends of Albert Benavidez will get together for a huge barbecue in his honor this Saturday. Albert was killed in a motorcycle accident this past Sunday. Everyone is invited to celebrate his memory and raise funds for the family. The party will kick off Saturday on ten acres of land at 635 West Murry Street in Slaton.  Everyone is welcome and there's even room for campers and RVs.  You're invited to bring your own barbecues and grills and BYOB.  Not a bad deal right? You party hard and sleep it off on site. You're only asked to make sure you clean up after yourself and leave any attitude at home.
