Benefit Friday Night for the Family of Kylee Forrest

The murder of Kylee Forrest has to be one of the most horrifying things to happen in Lubbock. I'm not even going to pretend that things like this happen for a reason or because she was being called home. It was an act of a mentally ill madman, and that's it.

That said, there are quite a few good people now joining together to help the family with Kylee's final expenses.

Friday night (Feb. 6) at Backstage Live, it's rock and rap for a good cause.

Big Boy Productions will have their crew out while local bands including You're A Liar, I'm A Cheat, Double Barrel and Lies, Camera Aktion take the stage.

There will be a ton of talent on hand and the donation is $5. Everything should get underway around 9 p.m.. We at FMX would like to encourage you to come out and support this cause. If you can't stay, that's cool. Come by and drop a fiver off at the door.
