I've got ongoing blogs about "Must See Comedies" and "The Ultimate Album Collection" . It then occurred to me that I'm not writing about my favorite topic of all, horror films. I've reviewed a couple of horror films, but I'd like to give you a heads up on my favorite ones of all time. In this particular case, it makes more sense to write about the entire series of films then it does to write about just one.
Man it's going to be hot in July. I just posted new footage for Pacific Rim, and now here's new stuff from "The Wolverine". This new look offers some new stuff to check out included a brief glimpse at a Silver Samurai, a woman peeling off her face and the machine in the picture with is how the Wolverine keeps from touching himself when he thinks of Kate Upton. It looks like "Pacific Rim" will be the greatest "giant monster versus giant robot" movie ever. Yes, I do believe there is an entire category of films featuring giant robots and giant monsters. I've been pumped for this movie since day one, even though it looked a little too much like "Transformers" to me. This extended look at the film, intended for use at Comicon and other type gatherings really shows you quite a bit more. It looks like it's going to be the perfect film to see in the theaters on a hot July afternoon. More after the jump.
Metallica's movie "Metallica Through The Never" will be brought to every IMAX theater in North America on Friday, September 27.
The movie, "Zombieland" is a modern classic and epic flick. Amazon's attempt at making a TV series from that movie? Epic fail, so far.
Patton Oswalt is doing a cameo in an upcoming episode of "Parks And Recreation". In it he filibusters the council to delay a vote. In real life he went on an 8 minute unstoppable rant about his vision for the new "Star Wars" reboot.
Wow, I always thought the "S" on the "Superman" costume stood for, uh, "Superman". Apparently it doesn't. This is one of the things that you'll find out in this latest attempt to re-boot the Superman franchise. You'll also get to see who the villain in the movie is going to be. More after the jump.
