Check Out Amazing Footage From “Pacific Rim” [VIDEO]

It looks like "Pacific Rim" will be the greatest "giant monster versus giant robot" movie ever. Yes, I do believe there is an entire category of films featuring giant robots and giant monsters. I've been pumped for this movie since day one, even though it looked a little too much like "Transformers" to me. This extended look at the film, intended for use at Comicon and other type gatherings really shows you quite a bit more. It looks like it's going to be the perfect film to see in the theaters on a hot July afternoon. More after the jump.

One thing that's kind of weird about this film is the casting.  Charlie Hunnam from Sons of Anarchy narrates just like on that show and Ron Pearlman co-starts just like he does on that show.  It's just odd they ended up in a big budget movie together.   It obviously won't distract from the film too much.  Check out this footage from "Pacific Rim" now:
