It's time to dive back into the madness and the mayhem of time travel that hinges on how a hot tub does or does not properly perform, because the first (decidedly red band) trailer for 'Hot Tub Time Machine 2' is here, and it's sudsy and silly as all get out.

The first trailer for the Steve Pink sequel just debuted at Comic-Con to an already pumped Paramount panel audience, squeezed in between a bevy of 'TMNT' goodies and the apparent insanity that a Matthew McConaughey appearance can incite in people who are teetering on the edge anyway (take a breath, guys, we're worried!). It was an unexpected treat for the crowd -- and what a treat it is, because this stuff looks just as funny as the first.

This time around, the dudes (including Clark Duke, Craig Robinson, Rob Corddry, and new cast member Adam Scott -- John Cusack is sitting this one out) are traveling into, wait for it, the future. Apparently, Corddry's wily Lou has run afoul of somebody or something (and got himself pretty injured in the process) and, when Nick (Robinson) and Jacob (Duke) tried to go into the past to fix his mistakes, they get tossed right into the future.

Remember how the guys managed to change their lives for the way better last time around? Oh, yeah, that's catching up with them. Turns out, you can't just claim you invented the internet or wrote Lisa Loeb's catchiest hit without somebody getting mad at you.

'Hot Tub Time Machine 2' opens on December 25. Happy hot tub-idays.
