D.O.J. May Be Overstepping In Investigation of L.P.D.

The Lubbock Police Department is being investigated for it's hiring practices concerning minorities and women. I don't agree with this and I personally draw the line here.

We are never going to eliminate racism until we become colorblind. This means treating all people equally. No one gets an advantage and no one gets a disadvantage. I guess, in this world, certain practices have to be put in place to keep the real bigots from real discrimination, but this reeks over over-regulation.

I just don't think L.P.D. is at fault here, at least based on the information that I have.
