Don’t Forget The Animals This Christmas

There's a lot of need out there. I tend to favor animal charities because domestic animals are pretty much at the mercy of humans. I guess the same could be said for little kids, but there seems to be plenty of people who are doing great work for kids like Toys For Tots.

I prefer to adopt from and support a local no-kill animal shelter called "The Haven".  In addition we take a crew from Nightmare out there every couple years to help rehab the place and walk and wash the animals.  The Haven has many animals that can be adopted but quite a few that can't be. They have some that are disabled or are very elderly and living out their final years.  The Haven is almost always at 100% capacity.
