Downtown Farmers Market Picks Up Steam [PIX]

The produce is in.  The Downtown Farmers Market went weekly this year and it took a bit before the crops started coming in, but it's rockin' now.  I've got a list of just some of the stuff you can get fresh from the farm.

So the first couple of weeks we were pretty much limited to squash and zucchini, now all bets are off.  Today I saw tomatoes, cabbage, jalapenos, onions, potatoes, sweet potatoes, peaches, apples, mushrooms, cantaloupes, watermelons and more. The even have limes!  There's also some cool crafts, the chalk paint, preserves, candy, food and much more.  New this week is a food truck in the Tornado Gallery Alley serving up some of the products from the other vendors.  The Downtown Farmers Market runs from 9a-1p every Saturday but stuff starts selling out around 11-12.  They are at 19th and Buddy Holly and there's plenty of parking in the area.  Check out the pics of some beautiful stuff.
