So what does it mean when a band stops a major tour?  It means MAJOR problems.  You have to remember that these guys probably run a crew of a hundred and all of those people are going to want to be sent home.  Some positions will have to be rehired after some workers jump on other tours.  Tickets have to be reprinted. Interviews rescheduled and on an on.

So what causes a tour breakdown like this?  It’s usually NOT friction in the band; if that was the problem, they’d start cancelling dates. What it probably means is one of the band members probably needs so physical or chemical rehab, or just plain rest.  These aren’t young pups anymore, this tour could seriously be whoopin’ thier asses.  Anyways here’s the good and bad dates:

The classic 1992 metal release will be performed top to bottom in Argentina and other South American hot spots this September.Buenos Aires will hold the special Megadeth show on September 14, 2012 and Cordoba, Argentina will host the same show with the same setlist on September 16, 2012. Santiago, Chile; Mexico City; and Guadalajara, Mexico will all be graced by the shredding licks and pounding jams of the entire album.

“Symphony of Destruction” and “Skin O’ My Teeth” are just two of the classic tunes that will be showcased at the festivals.

Hopefully, you can get out of town and check out the shows for yourself, if not, watch them on YouTube, like me.

The new album is entitled “Band of Brothers” which the guys have basically become. I’m personally excited to check out the rest of the album, as I’m sure it’ll be a rocker.

May has already been one of the biggest month’s to date for the Hub City Hotties thanks to Kirsten who blew us away with two great shoots. We now officially declare May to be the biggest month ever thanks to the drop dead gorgeous beauty of Shivani.

As you can see, Shivani is the living embodiment of a goddess. She’s the image everyone pictures in their mind while they’re day dreaming or having a Brad Hamilton moment from Fast Times at Ridgemont High (think Phoebe Cates).

Danielle’s a 21-year-old model, bartender, and certified Nursing Assistant from Greenfield, Indiana who now lives in Indianapolis.

Her first big modeling gig was an appearance in the 2011 Hooters calendar. Next up for ‘Dan O Baby’ was her role as one of the ‘Twisties’ in a promo video for Playboy and PSP title, “The 3rd Birthday”, which you can see below. Though she’s fairly new to the game, Hooters and Playboy are a pretty decent start.

I’m sure by now most of you have heard of “50 Shades Of Grey.” It’s that book that women are reading everywhere and its super-dirty. I haven’t read it, but after this I just might. Of course maybe I’ll just let Gilbert read it to me. He’s got the sexiest voice.

I also found a decent website with instructions on how to build a viewer that will save your little eyeballs from being burned out like the ark scene from Indiana Jones. Make sure to read the disclaimer though. SAFETY FIRST BUTTHOLE!

Other than building one of these boxes, you’ll need a solar telescope that can save your eyes because they are built for viewing the sun directly. Otherwise wait until about 5 minutes after it happens and watch all the videos on YouTube. That’s probably easiest anyway.

The sun should start heading behind the moon right around 7:30 in the evening with the full eclipse  visible about an hour later. This will produce the ‘ring of fire’ event and should be quite a site.  Now, this is a spectacle that is happening right over Lubbock (check out the video below).  Persons north of us will see variations of this spectical, but this is apparently a once in a century treat for people right here in the Hub City.  Lubbock is also where the phenomenon “ends” so the eclipse will be followed by dusk . Please keep in mind that you are still looking partially at the sun and you should use proper eye protection or use an indirect viewing method. The best thing possible is a #14 welders helment. Tuesday May 29th Shadows Fall will throw down at Jake’s. What makes this even sweeter are the ticket prices just $15.

Shadows Fall have teamed up with Adam D of Killswitch Engage and Times Of Grace to produce their new album “Fire From The Sky.”

If you have never seen Nonpoint live, then you are missing out on a serious live show.

But what happens when you take away all the effects and amps? Some bands can perform and others stay far away from an acoustic performance.

Nonpoint is one of those bands that can give you an awesome live show, but can also step back and give you an awesome acoustic performance.

Nonpoint, has finished recording their latest album and is set for release later this year. The song “Another Mistake” is a brand new song which you can check out…

It has been to long since Flyleaf have been to Lubbock and it doesn’t look like they will be making their way to Lubbock any time soon.

When you strip a band down to nothing but guitars and vocals there are many bands that can’t pull it off.

The band that Justin and I would love to see live and acoustic is Coheed And Cambria. Claudio Sanchez has a defining voice that makes the sound of Coheed. And we agreed that this would be a killer acoustic set.

So the question I ask you is, Who would you like to see play an acoustic set?

Phil Anselmo of Pantera and current vocalist of Down recently threw down with Warbeast on stage here in Texas.

Not only was this a throw down for Warbeast but it was a celebration as the lead vocalist of Warbeast/Rigor Mortis married his sweetheart Jeanna Jennings.

What made this really cool, is one of my best friends Jason McMaster of Dangerous Toys and Broken Teeth, an ordained minister, conducted the ceremony.

After the wedding, a killer reception followed with Evil United featuring my bro Jason McMaster and Warbeast taking the stage.

Ronnie James Dio best known for his work in black Sabbath and Dio. Dio lost his battle to stomach cancer 2 years ago today.

I was never fortunate to get to see Ronnie James Dio perform. But there isn’t anything like throwing down some Dio or Sabbath and listening to one of the most talented vocalist of all time do what he did best.

What keeps me smiling is some where in the world there is some is kid that is finding his dad’s copy of Holy Diver and wanting to follow his dreams of performing in front of thousands of fans just like Ronnie James Dio.

The new product from Pearcy and top chef Chris Santos has just been released and is entitled Top Fuel Verde Sauce from High River Sauces.Now, when I first heard this news, it was kind of a shocker. I mean, what rock star from a legendary band decides to make a brand of hot sauce? Well, apparently Stephen Pearcy does. More power to him.

I’m sure I’ll be finding myself searching some online site that sells the special concoction, as I also love my food extremely hot and spicy.

My son Gunner fell in love with the latest Elder Scrolls title Skyrim, which was the fifth of the series.The latest edition to the series will be a massive multiplayer experience just like the World of Warcraft and Rift titles possess. The information of the newest edition to the series is quite slim at the moment, but there are a few facts that many people know for sure.

First of all, the game won’t be released until next year, which is definitely a bummer. Secondly, the game won’t have dragons, which is basically what made the fifth installation Skyrim so popular.

Either way, the game won’t disappoint. Bethesda has created a masterful dynasty of open-ended games that allow your character to become exactly who or what you want he or she to be, and the case shouldn’t be any different in the latest title.
