Foo Fighters To Play Super Bowl Weekend Show In New York

A handful of acts have been selected to kick off festivities for one of the biggest weekends in America: Super Bowl Weekend. The Foo Fighters are scheduled to be one of the bigger acts of the weekend.

The band will perform on the night before Super Bowl Sunday, along with the Zac Brown Band. The groups will perform live on the Bud Light Hotel cruise ship on the Hudson River.

The weekend festivities kick off on Thursday with a root-inspired hip-hop culmination of RUN DMC, Busta Rhymes and other guests; Friday will have Imagine Dragons perform; then of course, as stated, the Fighters and Zac Brown Band will do their thing on Saturday night.

This sounds like a great idea, I mean, you can't go wrong with the Foo Fighters, so we'll see just how it pans out.
