Covering a classic hit can be tricky for any band. Many attempts turn into nothing more than a serious hack job. This is not the case with Sixx: A.M. and their cover of "Drive" the Cars classic tune from 1984's Heartbeat City record.
It goes without saying that Iron Maiden was and always will be a force in the metal scene, especially during the 80's. The band is planning to reissue the albums released in the 80's on vinyl, of course starting with the band's self-titled full-length album.
It just seems to come up in interviews and conversations is the potential for a "Pantera Reunion" where the lineup would be Vinnie Paul, Rex Brown, Phil Anselmo and Zakk Wylde filling in for Dimebag Darrell who was murdered on stage in 2004.
Vocalist Amy Lee of Evanescence has posted a teaser clip of a brand new song called "Lockdown" which will surprise some fans of Evanescence, but I really dig the teaser clip and you can check it out here.
