‘Guns Up’ And Black Out The Jones This Weekend

This past weekend as families were enjoying the Oklahoma State University homecoming parade the unimaginable happened as a young woman drove her car through the crowd gathered for the event killing five and injuring dozens more.

This weekend our Texas Tech Red Raiders will take on the Cowboys of Oklahoma State at Jones AT&T Stadium, and in a show of respect the TTU Athletic Department is asking everyone to refrain from using the words Wreck 'Em in any form this weekend.

Tech officials are asking instead that fans use "guns up" when speaking or writing anything about this weekends game.

Let's all band together and show the OSU fans and players we mourn with them by wearing black to black out the stadium and by getting our guns up this weekend.
