I Like Bikes

Some people find bikers a little intimidating. Let's face it, that's a lot a black leather and tough looking dudes squinting in the sun.  I guess I can't speak for everyone, but I've never met a biker I didn't like.  Heck, my step dad was a hard core biker and he was really good dude.

The point is, if you let these guys "armor" get in the way of getting to know them, then you are seriously missing out.  I find them to be welcoming, comfortable and fun loving guys. Now don't get me wrong, they're probably much less likely to take sh!t from anyone, but that's not a bad way to live if you ask me. It's certainly the way I try to live.

I made my way over to a party this past weekend and I had an AWESOME time.  I saw great music from Sober By Sunday and Early Morning Reign. We ate barbeque and slammed beers.  I laughed my ass off at the "Weenie Bite" contest, cheered the guys on in the "Slow Ride" and burnout competitions and actually tried my luck in the keg throwing contest.

My thanks to the Los Carnales M.C. and all of the other fine M.C.s and good people at this last Saturday's party, it was a blast.  I hope everyone will step out of their comfort zone and party down with some of these guys in the future.
