Ignorant Religious Leaders Pull Komen For The Cure Support

I'm not naming names because as far as I'm concerned they no longer deserve one, but at least one organization has falling for innuendo and lies and pulled support from our "Pink" friends.  Read more after the break.

The religious organization claims that some of Komen for the Cure's affiliates have given funds to support abortion services. Even worse, they acknowledge that it doesn't happen directly, they say that Komen gives grants to breast cancer organizations, and that frees up money at those organizations that goes to Planned Parenthood ( what a reach!!!). Not only does this not happen in Lubbock, it's apparent that from Komen's documents that it doesn't happen anywhere.

I don't have all the facts, I only have opinions from the various sources I've read. All I can say is that this is exactly the type of thing that turns people against organized religion.  I also can state that Komen for a Cure has done more to cure and prevent breast cancer than any other organization.  We are serious about standing behind this organization and all it does; and all it does is support breast health services.

Here's my question to you-do you really think the "pearly gates" would be closed to you because you choose to help women prevent, live through and live with, this terrible disease?
