Jeff Friedl Named New Drummer For Filter

Richard Patrick announced earlier this week that Jeff Friedl, drummer for Ashes Divide and Puscifer, is the newest addition to Filter's lineup.After the departure of Mika Fineo, the band's former drummer, for unknown reasons, Richard Patrick and Jonathan Radtke decided to draft a new, fresh sound from the percussion section.

Jeff Friedl, who is from Arizona, has also played with A Perfect Circle and Devo. Friedl endorses Ludwig, Zildjian, Vic Firth, LP Percussion, and many other top name brands.

Friedl will be providing new percussion material for Filter next album, named "Gurney and the Burning Books", which is a working title as of now. The album will hopefully be released soon, as Patrick has stated the album should be released in the late stages of 2012.
