There is an old saying that "if you point a finger at someone, three fingers point back at you".  I always thought this was one of those dumb, homey sayings that really didn't mean anything. More and more I'm finding out it is true.

Duggar, was first accused of molesting his sisters. Many sprang to his defense not knowing that this guy has some, what I'd call, chronic sex problems. He now has been revealed to have had a paid Ashley Madison account in order to cheat on his wife.  Duggar has stepped up to the plate and admitted his hypocrisy. He also admitted that he had been watching pornography and asked for forgiveness.

Where this rubs me, and many people the wrong way, is in public during this time he was playing the role of moral crusader and actively working against gay rights (claiming they are "anti-family"). I'm also tired of characters like this dropping the "get-out-of-jail-free" card that is "asking for forgiveness".  Sure, forgiveness is a good thing and the cornerstone of many religions, but at what point are people abusing their right to ask for "forgiveness"?  That's a real tough question and I can't even pretend to know the answer.

The truth is, I don't forgive people like this for trying to judge other people. If he had been a private citizen who minded his own business, I'd stand up for him, but when you KNOW you're worse than the people you're condemning and you're still condemning them, you don't really deserve forgiveness.

The truth of Josh Duggar is, he was never fighting an "anti-family" movement, he was persecuting gay people and profiting from it.  In my book, not enough bad things can happen to him now.
