Channel 28 is getting props for solving a hit and run involving a monster truck.  The truck had hit a storage building belonging to the Church's Chicken at 50th and Q.  Read more after the break.

When KAMC showed up at the scene of a knocked over building the witness game the news crew a unique description of the truck that had hid and run their storage building.  KLBK then got a picture of the semi carrying the "Raging Inferno" fire truck at which time the witness confirmed it as the culprit.  Lubbock police ticketed the driver for failing to notify the police of the accident.  The driver insisted that he didn't know he had been in an accident.

In my opinion it is possible for them to hit a building like that and not know about it.  You have to remember this was a semi big enough to CARRY a pimped out fire truck.  But big props to KAMC for putting two and two together so that the proper people take care of the damages.

And from the video below, you tend to believe the driver, because if he wanted to destroy the evidence, or just make the chicken extra crispy, he sure the hell could have.
