Texas Tech's first two games were ugly wins. What does head coach Kliff Kingsbury think is necessary for the Red Raiders (2-0) to turn it around going into a tough match with the Arkansas Razorbacks (1-1)?

"I think it's a great challenge to see where we're at," said Kingsbury. "We haven't been pleased with our performances the past two weeks, but you're only as good as your next game."

Texas Tech fought hard to eke out wins in both the season opener against Central Arkansas and during the team's first road game against UTEP. And both Kingsbury and his players are well aware of fans' gripes.

"We can't wait until the end and kind of flop around for three quarters and start to play," he said.

One big hurdle for the Red Raiders defense will be Arkansas Running Back Johnathan Williams, who leads the nation in yards per carry. Kingsbury noted that Arkansas is "a completely different beast," but believes the team will find a way to slow their rush down.
