Lubbock Fire Fighters Fill The Boot This Weekend

Lubbock Fire Fighters will be taking back our intersections, I mean holding their "Fill The Boot Campaign" through Saturday (sorry, but I think the only people that belong in those intersections are professionals, like firemen and not hobos and newspaper vendors).  The firemen are out for a very good cause too, to raise money for Jerry's kids.

Lubbock firefighters will be manning the intersections of 50th and Indiana, Slide and South Loop 289, University and South Loop 289, and locations inside the South Plains Mall from ten to six through Saturday evening.  Help our guys out and throw some change in a boot, or have a check ready when you roll through one of these intersections.  This has been a proud tradition for these firefighters for 60 years.  Proceeds benefit the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
