Lubbock Pier One Imports Opens Drive Through

Okay, the didn't really open a drive through, but an SUV ran into the store.  KCBD broke the story on this mishap. More after the jump.

Apparently somebody just couldn't get to all that damn wicker fast enough and drove right through the giant ride side window at Pier One imports.  Pictures from the KCBD website show the red SUV fully inside the store. Apparently there were no injuries but several scented candles gave their lives in the accident.  I'm willing to be the heroic efforts of the "clever accent pillows" will be lauded in the days to come.  The store is close until further notice. Your great aunt will now be cancelling her visit to Lubbock until the place is restocked.  All of this right in the middle of the "Wonderfall" sale. Damn!
