Macy Gray Covers Metallica’s “Nothing Else Matters” [VIDEO]

Soul singer Macy Gray has recently recorded an album full of covers, which leads me to ask is there anything that is sacred in music anymore?

There have been good covers over the years, but the BAD ones way out number the good ones. including this cover from Macy Gray. I gave it an honest listen and she lost me as soon as she started her singing.

Macy Gray has a very distinctive sound and it works for her. But not to cover a Metallica song of any kind.

I would really like to hear what Metallica thinks of her take on their classic song. But they will never go on record and say so.
