Of all the things in the world they could have called the March Full Moon, they went with "Full Worm Moon"?  Yeah.

Okay, so supposedly at this time of the year the "ground begins to soften" and gives earthworms a time to get busy and that attracts birds and circle of life and so on and so on. All of this somehow added up to "Full Worm Moon".

I like the secondary name a bit better. It's also known as the Full Sap Moon since this is when they'd tap the trees for the sticky stuff.

So how about that visual?  Sticky worms.  Worms n' Syrup?  How about we just move on?  The full moon will happen on the evening of  March 27th at 9:59 p.m.
