Metallica Prepares For Appearance On “The Colbert Report”

You read that right. The Bay Area Battalion of Metal will be on Colbert's show on the 24th for an interview and performance.

Metallica is also set to perform on Howard Stern's show and there's a possible/rumored show for Mariano Rivera's retirement from the New York Yankees, as Rivera, known as "The Sandman" has "Enter Sandman" play every time he comes in for a save. That last of bit of news has yet to be confirmed.

Of course, you might be in Midland to check out STP and Filter, like I will be, but I'll be sure to set the DVR to check this performance out.
