Ministry have announced their upcoming co-headlining fall tour with experimental hip-hop act Death Grips. The North American tour will run from Oct. 13 to Nov. 11.

This is by far one of the most interesting tours Ministry have embarked upon in years past. For those unaware, Death Grips combine noise, industrial and hip-hop together to play some of the most unique music to come out in recent years. This approach to music has won them over a cult fanbase, It's a performance that's standoffish and not instantly enjoyable, a challenging and exciting group. They're set to release a new record this year if all goes alright, the followup to 2016's Bottomless Pit.

Makes sense then why Ministry would want to tour with the group. For decades now, Ministry have been at the forefront of revolutionizing what industrial and metal sound like together. To this day Ministry are still going strong, the band setting up to release their upcoming record AmeriKKKant with the help of a PledgeMusic campaign. It's clear Al Jourgensen is keen on keeping the band's music ever current, tackling political themes to this day with new songs like "Antifa."

These two bands touring together are a testament to the power political thought can have in music, and the continued legacy of industrial music. The fanbases colliding into one show will be an interesting sight, and you can be sure that both bands will bring their A-Game.
