You would think that if someone took a picture of you, that you would at least be able to use that picture. Well have no fear, the attack of the douchbag photographers is here!  I want you ladies to be very clear, that even though you probably did the photographer a favor by posing for them, some will not even let you use your own images.

It's time for you models to step up and demand equal rights.  If someone is getting paid off your images, you should be able to use it yourself. It's a picture of YOU. If you don't own your own looks, then you shouldn't sign the deal.  I understand if you're modeling someones clothes that they may own the rights, but when the picture is just to share your hotness, you should be able to do with it whatever you want.

Be careful what you sign.  We recently had some very lovely ladies who wanted to share their pictures with us, but their photographer decided to take issue with it.  We're not looking for freebies either, we try in every case to provide link backs to the girls modeling pages, favorite charities and anything else they're interested in promoting.  We do the same for the photographers that work with us.

The same goes for the "event" photographers who show up at concerts.  So far we haven't had any problems, but think about this....those people asked to take your photo (and in some cases didn't even ask) and you have no control or rights as to how your image is used.

So, take from this what you will, but if you are an inspiring model, make sure you have rights to your own pictures. You seriously could be sued for using pictures of you, and there is something very wrong with that.

Now it's important that we do give respect to the photogs out there...they should have rights too, but they need to remember without these hot models they're taking pictures of apples and stuff.
