Must-Try Drinks at PreGame, Lubbock’s Only Drive-Thru Beer and Frozen Daiquiri Spot

There are few things better on a hot Lubbock day than a cool boozy drink. Luckily, it's always daiquiri time at PreGame. The drive-thru shop is here to quench Lubbock's collective thirst during the summer with a wild assortment of to-go frozen daiquiris and beer, or you can head inside and try craft beers from a local brewery.

Think about it: we're about to hit our summer stride in the Hub City. Concerts are finally returning. Commencement is upon us. And then there are backyard barbecues and MMA fights. That means you'll need, hm, let's say a gallon of daiquiris? PreGame actually sells daiquiris by the gallon. That's a lot of adult beverage goodness for whatever the occasion.

PreGame has gone all-in on daiquiris. They boast 18 different flavors to choose from, but things get way more fun when you factor in their combos drinks. With drink names like "The Tech Terrace Special," "Some Beach" and "The Midterm," you know they're all about the 806. They also have a XXX menu which features "The Red Raider," the legendary “Frat Star” and more, including extra shots for extra fun.

There's a 4th of July-inspired daiquiri that shows off the red, white and blue like you've never tasted before: strawberry, piña colada and Blue Hawaiian. The Yellow Ombre concoction has orange, mango and pineapple. Then, if you're rooting for Canelo Alvarez, there is a Mexican flag daiquiri, with his home country's colors that features strawberry, piña colada and liquid Mary J.

If those don't immediately get your mouth watering, there are also daily Happy Hour specials Monday-Friday, 2 to 5 p.m. that include Jell-O shots and domestic drafts.
