Private Lubbock Business Threatened With Fine for Removing Snow [VIDEO]

Well, this throws a wrinkle into everything, doesn't it? Not only was the city caught with its pants down concerning snow removal, they didn't want anyone to jump in to help either.

Of all the angles we've covered on this issue, we really haven't talked about the impact of three to four days of impassible roads on local businesses. Some decided to take matters in their own hands, and at least one city representative wasn't happy about it.

A guy who was clearing snow was allegedly told by a City of Lubbock employee that he would be fined if he didn't stop.

We have one question: What code would that violate? Doing a better job at clearing snow than the City of Lubbock?
