It's a tough, tough conference. The Big 12 is stacked with all kinds of talent, and Texas Tech is right at the cusp (at least, in my opinion). #14 West Virginia visited the Hub City Monday night and put the Red Raiders away for good in the middle of the second half, finalizing a 78-67 win.

Devaugntah Williams had a gigantic night for the boys in scarlet and black, scoring 21 to lead Tech. He also led the team in steals (2), rebounds (6), and assists (3). He's quickly becoming the all-around, go-to guy, and why not? He can shoot from the perimeter and dish it. I do think once the bigs and guards like Williams continue to gain chemistry and mesh, the team will begin to produce much more.

West Virginia, however, is a damn good team that can simply do it all. Texas Tech certainly learned that tonight.

It's gets no easier for the Red Raiders, as they travel to play #12 Kansas on Saturday.
